Coaching

Coaching helps you to help yourself. Coaching makes the client creating his own solution.

A Coach is a professional and trained listener and observer, who tries to elicit the client's own solutions. The task of the coach is to support the client in enhancing his skills, resources and creativity and to use them in a useful way.

There are different coaching approaches and methodics but all of those have the following in common:

- they recognize you as the expert for your problems or your questions
- they support you without giving advice
- they care about the future and not about the past

 

Solution focused coaching

Solution focused coaching is based on the research of Steve de Shazer und Insoo Kim Berg.

Tha basics of the solution focused brief therapy are:

  • problem and solution are not connected
  • the consequences of an inner state do always have a impact outside
  • the change of a situation requires a change in behaviour patterns

 

Confidentiality

Confidentiality, discretion and openness are the basics for a open and promising consultation.

Thus, I assure the highest level of discretion and secrecy.

Although I am not a member of ICF (International Coach Federation) I accept their Code of Ethics and act accordingly.
